My health and yoga path began in 2002 as support after moving to London from a small South African town. As for many people yoga came to me at a difficult time and became my most valued tool for grounding, self-development and health. My relationship with yoga asana nourished and soothed my mind, body and soul.
Through my Health Coach Training with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition I became aware and passionate about the body mind connection in health and happiness. This led me to train as a Yoga Alliance Accredited RYT 200HR Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher in India and has seen me continue my training in Chakra Vinyasa with Shiva Rea and complete my RYT80hr Antenatal Yoga training with YogaGro.
With a strong belief in yoga as a therapeutic tool I am currently undertaking my RYT 500HR training in Yoga Therapy for the Mind at The Minded Institute. By combining yoga, mindfulness, neuroscience, psychology and mental health this training will help encourage a Yoga practice that heals emotionally, physically and mentally.
